Due to staffing pressures, the MIU’s opening times have temporarily changed to 8am-9pm, seven days a week. The MIU can treat a wide range of minor injuries in adults and children 1+ including cuts and broken bones. However it cannot treat illnesses. Although typically quicker than A&E, at particularly busy times you may still face a longer than usual wait.
